HomeRiver Group is looking for a confident and committed individual to lead the organic growth of our company.  The right person should be a self-starter, be creative, fearless, determined, have a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Source and On-board new property management accounts. A successful Business Development Manager will aspire to close an average of 30 new property management units per month.
  • Work with investors to source and purchase properties to convert to operating rental units
  • Create, present and distribute marketing and sales content.
  • Grow lead generation by creating and executing marketing campaigns using a variety of methods
  • Establish, and actively manage, pipeline of potential clients through a wide variety of marketing activities including: networking, trade organizations, SEO, PPC campaign, social media, mailers, email campaigns, blogging, etc.
  • Weekly communication and reporting on activity, status, pipeline and conversions.
  • Clearly communicate all company requirements, expectations and processes to new accounts prior to onboarding of units. The BDM must lay the groundwork for a successful management relationship, including what we expect from our owners, and what those owners can expect from us.
  • Identify and communicate the goals of each new client to the property management team for clean hand-offs and happy owners.
  • HomeRiver Group will provide leads, but the BDM needs to build their own pipeline as well. It is expected that the BDM attends networking events, meets often with home builders, real estate agents, and other centers of influence to build new relationships and generate referrals. 

Requirements

  • Outside sales experience.
  • Interest and understanding of investment real estate, including how to analyze and operate investment properties.
  • Motivated, assertive, self-starter.
  • Ability to work independently, in-office and remotely.

Compensation

  • Generous base salary, plus tiered commission plan.
  • Brokerage and Business Development commission opportunity.
